San Fernando Vision 2031
A citywide strategic plan is fundamental to successful work planning. It is a policy document that reflects the priorities of the City Council. It informs budgeting and the City Manager’s annual staff work plans. After adoption, the City’s executive team, management and staff integrates the policy focus areas into their operations and workplans. Thus, translating Council’s direction into concrete strategies, action plans, staffing and budget proposals. City staff will also report back regularly to the City Council on progress.
The City of San Fernando has established six broad multi-year goals. Each goal contains a set of strategies intended to help the City make progress in achieving the broad goals over a five-year period.
