Public Hearing & CEQA Notices

Assembly Bill (AB) 819 (2021) amended the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) to require local and state agencies to post environmental review documents on the agency’s website. Effective July 1, 2022, agencies must post to their official website, Notices of Preparation (NOP), Notices of Intent (NOI), Environmental Impact Reports (EIRs), Notices of Determination (NOD) and Notices of Public Hearings, in addition to distributing them through traditional methods such as mail and newspaper publication.
