Fireworks are Illegal in the City of San Fernando! Violators may be fined up to $3,000.

Please do not call 911 to report illegal fireworks. It's important that we keep 911 telephone lines clear for life-threatening emergencies.

The City of San Fernando has two methods to report and document the use of fireworks in progress in your neighborhood:

The City asks for your patience when calling the non-emergency number on busy nights like the Fourth of July or New Year's Eve when call volume is high. It is important to note that law enforcement prioritizes how they respond to emergency calls, and they may not be able to respond to disturbance calls about fireworks if there are more pressing emergencies taking place. The information you submit via the online form will help law enforcement document areas where illegal fireworks are being ignited for future enforcement action.
